Movie Links #14

on

Happy Wednesday! It’s time for another movie link-up.

There has been an awful lot going on in the world of film over the last week or so, what with the likes of San Diego Comic-Con and the announcement of this year’s Emmy nominations, and it is these two events that have inspired this week’s post.

Where the Emmy’s were all about Game of Thrones, San Diego Comic-Con was, unsurprisingly, all about Marvel’s Phase 4. Amongst the many announcements Marvel made, their biggest story was regarding a female Thor, to be played by Natalie Portman, the first link in this week’s chain.

As you probably know by now, I loved the last season of Game of Thrones and so I was extremely happy with their record breaking 32 (!!) Emmy nominations, which is why Game of Thrones is the final link in this week’s post.

Terrific update…I attended Comic-Con 5 times when I worked at G4, a cable network dedicated to video games, pop culture and comics! It was so much fun – a gathering of like-minded fans of all ages!

Wow that sounds amazing. We went to LFCC last year but I imagine it’s nothing compared to San Diego.

  3. This was such a fun post! I love these kind of movie links/six degrees of Kevin Bacon ideas. Plus, you put my ultimate crush Domhnall Gleeson in there, so it kind of made my day to see his picture 😉 Great post!
